The History of the Christian Religion to the Year Two Hundred
by Charles B. Waite
Judge Charles Burlingame Waite (1824-1909)
Charles Waite's first career was in the legal profession rather than history or theology. In 1862 he was appointed associate justice of the supreme court of Utah by President Lincoln. In 1865 he resigned from that post, and a year or so later he devoted himself to literary pursuits. In 1881 he published History of the Christian Religion to the Year A.
